Applicant’s eligibility: An applicant shall be considered for the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship if he or she meets the following criteria:

Applicant is expected to be among the top 10% of his/her graduating class.

Applicant must not hold an EU/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch study grant and loan system.

Applicant must have completed his/her secondary school and/or bachelor’s degree outside the Netherlands.

Applicant must have applied for an international master’s program with a start date of 1 September 2023 and not an applicant or participant of any other program.
