Here is more information on this Humber scholarship:
- Humber reserved the right to consider high school students who have shown academic excellence for the international entrance scholarship, however, only those with the highest GPA (Grade Point Average) will be awarded due to the limited number of scholarships available. Humber’s admissions authority will calculate the GPA based on the high school transcripts received during the admissions assessment process. No separate application process is designed for the International Entrance Scholarship, hence, the awards are automatically offered to deserving candidates on the commencement of their studies.
- 20 scholarships are set aside to be awarded to new students starting in September, 15 scholarships to be awarded to new students starting in January, and 5 scholarships will be awarded to new students starting in May. Per every beginning semester, each awardee will come from a different country. Safe to rephrase that no more than one student from any single country may receive the award within the same first semester.
- The Humber Entrance Scholarship award is to be applied toward the student’s MyHumber account as a credit after the 10th day of classes in two installments of CAD 1,000.
