SCHOLARSHIP

In 2023 and 2024, Coe College — USA offers a full tuition scholarship program. This is in addition to other financial aid offered to international students attending full-time. Scholarships are granted on a rolling basis and applicants must apply by March 1st of the year following the scholarship application deadline.

About the school

Coe College is a private liberal arts school located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It was founded in 1851 by the Presbyterian faith and is also a member of the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities and the Associated Colleges of the Midwest. Coe College grants the following degrees.

The Bachelor of Arts is awarded in music, and the Bachelor of Music is awarded in arts. Coe offers more than 60 areas of study. Students can choose any one of these majors under the guidance of Coe’s faculty members. This college also offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or B.S.N.

Admissible Criteria: To be qualified to apply, a student must be a non-citizen or non-permanent resident of the United States and attend a foreign high school.

Students must intend to enroll as full-time, undergraduate degree-seeking students, live in on-campus residential housing, and meet all the requirements for admission to Coe College.

Application Process: In order to apply to Coe College, applicants must complete an application for admission. Submit the Global Leadership Full Tuition Scholarship Form upon receipt of degree acceptance letter.

Supporting Documents: Upload a resume and essay response to the scholarship application form.
For admission, please submit the following originals or certified copies (send all documents to: admission@coe.edu):
Secondary school certificate (report form) translated into English listing all courses/grades and an explanation of the grading system.
National examination results (eg WAEC, WASSCE, ‘O’ level, ‘A’ level, SLC, etc.) if applicable.
Submit one of the following official score reports: SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, or DET.

Entry Requirements: Completion of an International Student Balance Sheet and proof of funds sufficient to cover Coe fees.

Language Requirements: One of the following English proficiency scores is required.

TOEFL score of 68 iBT (520 paper-based scores)
IELTS score of 6.0 (with no sub-score <5.5)
STEP Eiken score of grade 1 or pre-1
PTE Academic score of 59 or above.

Scholarship Benefits:

This scholarship is in the number of tuition the year the student enters Coe and is renewable for three additional years at that amount, and a yearly increase of $1,000.
