Eligibility Criteria: To be admitted, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- The applicants must have previous research experience (e.g., undergraduate or taught master’s dissertation).
- The applicants must have experience, prior knowledge of Stata, and prior research using the Synthetic Control Method.
- The applicants must understand the fundamental differences between a taught degree and a research degree in terms of approach and personal discipline/motivation, able to, under guidance, complete independent work successfully.

Scholarship Benefits
The University of Greenwich offers selected candidates Year 1: £17,668 (FT); Year 2: Based on UKRI rates; Year 3: Based on UKRI rates. In addition, successful candidates will be paid tuition fees at the University’s local rate for the duration of the scholarship, currently £4,596 (FT). This fee increases every year. International applicants must pay the remaining tuition fees towards the scholarship.
